My name is Tommy Dawson. I was born in Belfast on the 26th May 1977. I have had a history of drug addiction and I suffer from severe depression. I first met Martin in October 2007 at Bangor Elim Church. We started talking about the good work that Martin does in Maghaberry prison, and the many miracles he had witnessed through the Lord Jesus Christ.
In December 2007 we were in Belfast for a meal. After the meal we went to my flat in Whiteabbey. I started talking to Martin about my depression and my drug taking. Martin said he would pray for me and it was then the hand of the Lord first touched me. I couldn't believe it - to be honest I never believed in this sort of thing before.
I felt like a warm sensation all over my body from head to toe. Martin has said that he has witnessed many healings and miracles by the Lord. One night in June 2008 I phoned Martin I told him I had cut my arms severely - self-harming. He said a prayer of healing for me over the phone. The next day when I woke up there was a layer of black dead skin on my arms and the cuts had faded. The day after that the scars were gone. I couldn't believe it. It happened through the work of the Lord.
Very recently I phoned Martin and told him about problems I was having going to the toilet. He prayed for me on the phone again. Two days later things were back to normal through the Lord's work again. I would just like to say before I go that he is a lovely man and does brilliant work through the Lord. Many Thanks.
